- Maintain accurate records of patient assessments, treatments, and progress notes.
- Educate patients and families about speech therapy techniques and strategies for improvement.
- Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to speech and language functions.
- Proficient in medical terminology relevant to speech therapy practices.
- Experience in patient care with a focus on geriatrics.
- Ability to conduct thorough patient assessments to identify communication challenges.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and colleagues.
