Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorder. You will work collaboratively with families and healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans that promote effective communication skills along with swallowing to enhance the quality of life for your patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities in patients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Collaborate with other professionals to support patient progress.
• Maintain accurate records of patient assessments, treatments, and progress notes.
• Educate patients and families about speech therapy techniques and strategies for improvement.
• Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology.
  
  
  

Skills

• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to speech and language functions.
• Proficient in medical terminology relevant to speech therapy practices.
• Experience in patient care with a focus on geriatrics.
• Ability to conduct thorough patient assessments to identify communication challenges.
