Job Summary: As a Licensed or Apprentice Optician at Pearle Vision, you will play a crucial role in assisting customer with their eyewear needs, providing expert advice, and ensuring a seamless fitting experience. You will work closely with optometrists and other team members to deliver personalized service and maintain our high standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist customers in selecting eyewear that best suits their vision needs and personal style
Accurately interpret and verify prescriptions and measurements
Provide fitting, adjustments, and repairs to eyewear
Educate customers on lens options, frame material, and proper eyewear care.
Maintain a clean and organized personal work area
Collaborate with optometrists to provide comprehensive eye care services
Manage inventory and assist in ordering supplies as needed
Stay current with industry trends and advancements in optical technology
File claims for insurance policy holders
Qualifications:
-For Licensed Optician: Valid state optician license.
-For Apprentice Optician: Enrollment in a recognized optician program and previous work experience as an apprentice optician is a MUST.
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills
-Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
-Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
