Role Summary
Role : DevOps / Release Engineer
Location : Fremont, CA.
Summary :
Pebble is looking for a DevOps / Release Engineer to manage our build systems, CI / CD pipelines, and software release processes. This role will play a critical part in ensuring reliable and scalable software deployments. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of CI / CD pipelines, cloud deployments, and release management in an embedded or software-heavy environment.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain CI / CD pipelines to streamline software development and deployment.
- Manage build systems to ensure smooth and efficient software compilation and distribution.
- Oversee release engineering processes, including branch cuts, versioning, and deployment strategies.
- Ensure seamless distribution of software assets to the cloud for OTA updates.
- Monitor deployments, troubleshoot issues, and develop rollback strategies.
- Work closely with software teams to optimize build and deployment pipelines.
- Implement best practices for infrastructure automation, security, and monitoring.
- Maintain release notes, documentation, and compliance requirements.
