Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Perform medication administration as directed by healthcare providers.
- Assist with patient intake, including taking vital signs and medical histories.
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures within the clinic.
- Support physicians and nurses in various medical procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including coding for billing purposes.
- Collaborate with staff in a Level I Trauma Center and emergency medicine situations as needed.
Skills
- Experience working within pediatric office but will train
- Competence in medical coding for accurate billing processes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
