We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate (Registered) Behavior Technician to join our team. As an RBT, you will play a critical role in providing individualized support and behavioral therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities, such as, but not limited to, autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Your primary responsibilities will be to implement behavior intervention plans, utilizing research based methods of Applied Behavior Analysis to promote positive behavior while simultaneously decreasing maladaptive behavior. Our RBT's will work hand in hand in direct supervision from BCBA & BCaBA on sight to deliver the best quality therapy to our clients. At our clinic we offer a multidisciplinary approach-working together with Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Pathologists, and Physical Therapists and their families to promote generalization and maintenance in a variety of settings and over time. Collaboration with teachers and parents will also be a vital part of your role. Responsibilities:
-Implement individualized care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of professionals.
- Provide direct interventions to clients in clinic, school, and when applicable home & community, utilizing evidence-based ABA techniques.
- Monitor and record client progress, including behavior changes and response to treatment interventions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed data collection procedures, including progress notes.
- Collaborate with as a team with direct staff and caregivers involved in the client's life.
- Assist clients with daily living skills, including patient care and medication administration.
- Support clients in the academic setting to reduce problem behavior and establish positive behavior to reach their potential
- Utilize behavioral management techniques to minimize problem behaviors and promote positive reinforcement.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
Experience:
- Preferred experience working in a clinic setting, with special needs, children, and/or as a team.
**Must already have your Registered Behavior Technician board certification. **
