Bank Teller

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our staff as a Bank Teller. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and succeed in working within a fast paced, community bank.

Essentials Duties:
-Provides account services to customers by receiving deposits and loan payments, cashing checks, issuing savings withdrawals, and recording night and mail deposits.
- Perform basic math calculations accurately and efficiently

- Completes special requests such as closing accounts, ordering checks and selling gift cards
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers
- Instant issue debit card processing and assistance with fraud reporting and recovery
- Support various administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document management
-Assist with all branch balancing functions

Skills:
- Strong math skills for accurate calculations and financial transactions
- Knowledge of loan processing and origination procedures
- Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive banking experience
- Relationship management abilities to build rapport with customers
- Proficiency in using banking software and systems
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial transactions and documentation
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance several ongoing projects simultaneously

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a banking, customer service role or other cash handling experience is preferred
- Knowledge of fraud prevention techniques is a plus
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

We are currently hiring tellers for our Forest Branch. Hours are between 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday.
