Pella Motors is hiring a full-time Diesel Technician.
Pay is based on experience
Monday-Friday. NO WEEKENDS!!
GM Certified Preferred. If not certified, willingness to become GM Certified.
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diesel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about mechanics and problem-solving.
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and other components.
- Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and inspections.
- Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and identify mechanical and electronic issues.
- Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used.
- Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and comply with company and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete work efficiently.
- Stay updated on advancements in diesel technology and repair methods.
- Proficiency with diesel diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
- Strong understanding of diesel engines, electrical systems, and hydraulics.
