AS THE DIRECTOR OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH, you will provide professional clinical leadership and direct administration to all of the inpatient and outpatient behavioral health departments as evidenced by achieving results in clinical quality, service excellence, human resource management and financial management. The director assists in the developing and implementing a strategic plan for the growth and development of behavioral health services.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors Degree required; Masters Degree in social work, counseling, or clinical psychology preferred
- Three years direct patient care in an inpatient and/or outpatient behavioral health setting required; Two years of supervisory experience in behavioral health setting preferred
- Experience in group and individual therapy required; Experience in family and martial therapy required
- Healthcare provider (CPR) certification within 6 months; comprehensive crisis management (CCM) certification within 12 months of start date in department/position
- Desire to develop management skills and accept responsibility for department functioning with, and in the absence of, the service line director of behavioral health; progressive and successful work history
- Professional Licensure preferred
