Location: Auburn Hills, MI
Times: 2pm-11pm
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for facility equipment including: Paint booths, Vehicle Hoists, Plumbing, Machinery, Electrical, HVAC, Fire Suppression and Exterior Components. This position will also oversee security functions such as patrolling the property, watching cameras for activity, checking in trucks, and interfacing with managers/authorities as necessary.
Essential job functions:
- Exercises overall responsibility for control of the following areas:
- Equipment Repair
- Infrastructure Repair
- OSHA/ MSDS Compliance
- Small Build-outs
- Vendor Bidding & Negotiation
- Supervision of Janitorial duties
- Bulk Garbage Pickup & Recycling Services
- Snow Removal and Lawn Care Services
- Checking in trucks
- General security functions
Requirements
- 3-10 years of experience in building maintenance or general construction
- High School Diploma or applicable trade school experience
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities
Requires the following skills:
- Excellent communication, both oral and written. Must be able to communicate effectively via telephone, email and written means
- Certification in welding, HVAC, or electrical
- Welding experience preferred
- Experience with small concrete and asphalt repairs
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and principals
- Light plumbing experience
- Knowledge of facility infrastructure and ability to read blue prints
