Job Skills / Requirements
Role:
In partnership with a team of Commercial Lenders, this position is responsible for managing and servicing a portfolio of commercial customers, including expanding, building, and maintaining strong customer relationships with a resulting high level of customer satisfaction.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
*Initiate loan processes for new and existing borrowers in all aspects from application to closing.
*Collection and analysis of financial data deemed necessary to determine the general creditworthiness and merits of credit requests. This may include reviewing and spreading financial statements, tax returns, cash flow and projection analysis, risk rating, and analysis and review of personal financial statements and other applications that are presented. Review financial data for growth opportunities with new and existing borrowers.
*Manage annual credit review schedule for team of Commercial Lenders. Ongoing credit monitoring to include completing credit reviews as needed (typically annually) along with reviewing upcoming loan maturities, trend identification in credit quality/risk rating, compliance with loan covenants, management of all watch list credits, etc. Assist the Commercial Lenders on credit requests, including general underwriting, loan structuring, negotiating/pricing, collateral, analyzing industry/credit risk.
*Prepare loan presentations and credit reviews.
*Maintain loan reporting, including: such things as past dues, documentation and collateral exceptions, financial performance updates, portfolio profitability, etc. Ensure compliance with all Bank policies, procedures, regulations, and laws.
*Evaluate customer service requests for existing relationships, including loan renewals and modifications.
Performance Measurements:
Assist in producing assigned loan volume and average yield goals for Market.
To maintain a professional, courteous, and friendly atmosphere for customers and co-workers.
Ensure that all lending activity is in compliance with established policies and regulations.
Exhibit excellent organization and communication skills.
Must be able to meet deadlines and be flexible with scheduling.
To complete all trainings as required: including BSA, customer service, security, and all other training assigned.
Education Requirements (Any)
High School Diploma or GED required. College degree preferred.
