What you’ll actually do:
- Manage an A/P Clerk and two additional future hires (Staff Accountant and Clerk)
- Daily cash management and cash reporting to ownership.
- Leading month-end close and year-end close, journal entries, forecasting, and reconciliations for this accrual-based business.
- Forecasting and reconciliation for the corporate umbrella company and its four main business entities.
- Payroll accounting.
- Oversight of AP and AR along with some AP and AR duties to cover any overflow when necessary leading the transactional side of the accounting department.
- Ensure all tax filing deadlines are met and point person for external audits.
To be successful you’ll need:
- 5 years in accounting as a Staff, Senior, or Manager and management experience.
- Required - Active Colorado CPA, ASC 842 and ASC 606 familiarity, ERP system experience.
- Nice to have - Fixed asset experience,and corporate accounting experience for multiple entities and bank accounts.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, analytical, flexible, and technical accounting expertise.
Where and how much:
- This is an in-office position with a flexible schedule, (Commerce City) Denver, CO.
- Salary range is $110k - $140k annually plus bonus.
