The Lead Key Holder's responsibilities include opening and closing the store, supervising and training staff, providing operational support, and providing excellent customer service.
Lead Keyholder Operations Duties/Requirements:
§ Timecard: Send the weekly timecard report to payroll every Sunday.
§ Sales Approval: Approve sales over $500 at the POS using their sales number.
§ Receiving: Assist Store Managers with receiving tasks when needed.
§ Days Off: Lead Key Holders and Store Managers cannot take the same days off.
§ Hours: All Lead Key Holders must work full-time, at least 30 hours per week, to be considered full-time. No Exceptions.
§ Web Orders: Check store email for web store orders regularly.
§ Cycle Counts: Check store email for cycle count responses. Assist in cycle counts and inventory management.
§ Time Discrepancies: Report any time discrepancies on the Portal if needed.
§ Train: Assist in training new hires. Train, mentor, and motivate staff.
§ Returns: Approve returns, adhering to the Company’s policy.
§ Manager Duties: Perform duties of the manager in their absence.
§ Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and address customer complaints.
§ Open/Close: Open and close the store according to company standards.
§ Supervision: Supervise staff and ensure all tasks are completed effectively.
§ Maintenance Ensure the store is clean, organized, and presentable.
§ Percentages: Must meet or exceed a minimum Total PL of 35% and UPT 2.0.
Lead Key Holder Prohibitions:
§ Deposits/Cash: Deposits are the sole responsibility of the Store Manager. Lead Key Holders are not allowed to make deposits.
§ Safe: Only the Store Manager can access the safe and its contents.
§ Schedules: The Store Manager is responsible for creating the weekly schedule.
Qualifications for Key Holder:
§ 3 years of retail experience.
§ Computer skills.
§ Must be available for early and late shifts and on the weekends.
§ Professional demeanor and friendly nature.
§ Good written and verbal skills.
§ Reliable transportation to the store.
· Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the retail space.
· Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
