We are looking for a competent personal care assistant to support physically or mentally challenged customers in their everyday lives. Experience in housekeeping tasks and caring for the elderly or sick will make you a strong candidate.

Responsibilities

• Ensure clients receive their medication on time
• Support clients who can’t move on their own
• Help clients dress, bathe, eat etc.
• Assist clients with physical therapy exercises
• Cook meals according to the customer’s restrictions
• Do necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean environment
• Provide emotional support
• Inform Nursing Supervisors about uncommon events
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

All assistants are required to wear mask at all times during their time at the beneficiaries homes, COVID vaccine is not required, but encouraged

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Goldsboro, NC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)
