The Executive Director of Student Affairs is a pivotal leadership role within our organization, responsible for overseeing student engagement, event coordination, and the promotion of our mission to celebrate and educate others about Peruvian history and culture. This position ensures that the association’s initiatives align with the needs and interests of our members while fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment. The Executive Director serves as a bridge between the Executive Board and the general body, facilitating communication, planning impactful events, and supporting the growth of our community.

This role requires active participation in all meetings, a strong commitment to organizational goals, and effective management of time and resources to support the association’s activities and member engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Student Engagement: Develop and implement programs that enhance student involvement and connection with Peruvian culture.
- Event Coordination: Plan and execute events, workshops, and cultural activities that align with the organization's mission.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between the board and members, ensuring timely updates and clear messaging.
- Administrative Support: Assist with scheduling meetings, maintaining agendas, and coordinating with other Executive Board members to meet organizational goals.
- Cultural Advocacy: Promote awareness and appreciation of Peruvian heritage through educational initiatives and collaborative efforts.
Qualifications:
- Must be a current UCLA undergraduate or graduate student.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Passionate about promoting and educating others about Peruvian history and culture.
- Open to students of Peruvian ancestry and anyone deeply interested in Peruvian culture and heritage.
