DESCRIPTION:

Seeking an independent, dynamic individual to join a payment processing sales team that anticipates exponential growth in the coming years.

Flex Payment Solutions, LLC, a payment processing company outside of St. Louis, MO, requires a Sales Associate to place Flex processing services with new and existing clientele, as well as source new industries with high upside to service. Candidate must be flexible as responsibilities will evolve based on the company’s growth schedule and immediate needs; a high amount of self-drive and creative thinking is required to succeed in a sales position such as this. Because of the pace and ever-changing nature in an entrepreneurial business, being well-organized is required for a positive experience in the Sales Associate role.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Learn processing solution operations and sales techniques
• Actively source new clients to place all available payment solutions
• Schedule customer discovery, sales pitch, pricing, etc. calls/web chats to generate new business
• Utilize Flex CRM (Iris) to log sales notes, leads, and communicate internally
• Maintain contact, lead, and onboarding quotas
• Maintain annual processing volume quotas
• Research new industries with high growth potential for Flex product suite
• Attend weekly sales team call(s)
• Potential of 50% work time dedicated to travel
• Perform other duties as assigned

*Required Credentials:

- 3 years previous outbound sales experience

Preference given to payments/merchant processing or banking backgrounds

- Customer facing experience

- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

- Microsoft 365 proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
