Job Summary
This position supervises the edibles team’s performance and production of preparing and compiling cannabis infused edibles to meet production and customer needs. Supports and adheres to the company's Standards of Conduct & Discipline.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each of the essential duties/responsibilities listed below.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties/responsibilities of this job. 
 
  1. Supervises edibles crew members; assigns work, tracks attendance, production rates, ensures quality control, and delegates daily and weekly tasks.
  2. Trains, guides and coaches all employees; ensures quality stays consistent.
  3. Accurately tracks inventory.
  4. Maintains sufficient inventory to meet demand.
  5. Packages candy/sugar orders.
  6. Responsible to keep candy/sugar separate and organized.
  7. Puts packaged candies into other packages in the correct denomination.
  8. Applies labels and UBI stickers to product.
  9. Sorts packaged candy/sugar to proper tote.
  10. Stores labeled totes appropriately.
  11. Pulls candy/sugar for orders.
  12. Advocates safety and proper operation of the high-speed packaging machine.
  13. Maintains a clean and organized work space; assigns cleaning tasks to ensure clean packaging machine room.
  14. Attends daily/weekly/monthly Processing Lead Meetings.
  15. Partners with management on personnel management including: recommending performance/disciplinary actions, schedule changes, and/or position changes.
  16. Assists with Research & Development projects as assigned. Performs all other duties/responsibilities as necessary or assigned.
Job Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the minimum qualifications listed below.  These qualifications are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required to perform this job. 
  • Must be 21 years old or older

Education/Experience:  to perform this job successfully, an individual must have:
  • a High School Diploma or a General Education Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Six (6) months of edibles/packaging experience.
  • Leadership experience preferred.

Physical Abilities:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to:
  • Regularly sit or stand for long periods of time doing repetitive tasks with hands, pull/push, carry up to 25 pounds, and grasp.
  • Frequently walk, reach, and taste, or smell. 
  • Occasionally climb, stoop/crouch, crawl, carry up to 50 pounds, talk, or hear.
  • Clearly see 20 feet, with or without corrective lenses and differentiate between colors (no color blindness)

Workplace Environmental Conditions
While performing the essential duties/responsibilities of this job, the employee will be:
  • Noise Conditions: exposed during a shift to constant or intermittent moderate to loud noise levels.
  • Injury Exposure: occasionally exposed to workplace hazards or to potential injuries.
  • Atmospheric Exposures: exposed to dusts, fumes, vapors, or mists that could affect the occupational health of the employee.
  • Toxic Chemicals:  may be exposed to some toxic or caustic chemicals
