Assistant Store Manager/Store Manager 5 years plus of Luxury Retail Experience

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales performance. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a diverse team effectively within a grocery store environment. This role is hourly plus commission.

Duties

• Assist the Regional Manager in daily operations and management of store staff.
• Lead by example in providing excellent customer service and addressing customer inquiries or concerns.
• Support recruiting efforts to build a strong team, including interviewing and onboarding new employees.
• Manage inventory levels, assist with budgeting, and ensure effective stock management.
• Operate cash registers and oversee cash handling procedures to maintain accuracy.
• Drive sales initiatives by promoting products and ensuring merchandising standards are met.
• Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for increasing store sales and profitability.
• Train and mentor staff on best practices in sales techniques, customer engagement, and store policies.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail management or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Proficiency in budgeting and financial management within a retail context.
• Experience operating cash registers and handling cash transactions accurately.
• Excellent sales skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
• Knowledge of grocery store operations is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
