This position uses Windows and web application for development, programming, systems analysis, and technical assistance to produce computer software as required developing and managing projects while presenting the highest standards of business and excellence in quality of workmanship.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
1) Develop and manage computer software using Windows and web applications in the below listed languages.
2) Analyze, upgrade or correct fallacies of current application and programs.
3) Work in a team setting taking the role of lead programmer or support programmer, as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements:
- 3 – 5 years of development experience in VB.NET writing medium to large sized applications - must be able to provide references and samples of work
- High level of proficiency in full life cycle of system development
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong analytical skills and good professional communications skills
- Must work well in team-oriented environment.
- Must be project oriented and be able to meet strict deadlines.
- Must be flexible and willing to do varied tasks even if not directly related to job description.
- Exposure to financial services and portfolio management is an advantage.
