The Sanitation Manager oversees the company’s Sanitation program. This is a second/third shift position, responsible for the overall Sanitation of the Production and Warehouse facility. The Sanitation Manager will oversee 3 employees and help to build the department for future expansion.
Reports to: FSQA Manager
Status: Full-Time / Non-Exempt
Salary: $80,000
Schedule:
Monday – Friday 5:00PM – 1:00 AM Monday –Saturdays as needed.
Occasionally, additional hours may be required to complete tasks and/or projects.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
· Manages a team of 3- 1 Supervisor and 2 general laborers
· Responsible for SSOP creation of new equipment and SSOP maintenance of existing equipment
· Purchasing and inventory of all chemicals used in the sanitation process (Caustic, Acid, Sanitizers)
· Purchasing and maintaining par levels of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
· Daily Chemical Titrations
· Master Sanitation Schedule creation
· Coordination with FSQA and Production Managers to review department priorities or resolve Sanitation issues
· Skills and Qualifications:
· Understanding of Food Processing Sanitation, preferably in a USDA facility, is strongly preferred.
· A working knowledge of chemical usage, chemical application, and chemical titration.
· 2-3 years of Sanitation Manager experience required.
· Strong leadership skills.
· HACCP knowledge.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
