Phoenix Paper Wickliffe LLC is searching for qualified candidates to assume the role of the Reliability Support Supervisor.
Summary/Objective:
Reporting directly to the Maintenance Execution Manager position, this person is responsible for ensuring vibration and lubrication strategies are deployed in line with industry best practices and ensures continual improvement of asset healthcare by implementing proven predictive and preventative maintenance processes. This person also works with the maintenance crews to diagnose and resolve immediate issues with multiple systems. Reporting to this position are vibration analysts and maintenance lubrication technicians.
Key responsibilities of Reliability Support Supervisor position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provides leadership that develops and maintains a safe work environment
- Identifies and promotes the use of maintenance best practices throughout the mill
- Works with Engineering and/or Planners on short and long-term issues that require engineer solutions
- Works with mechanical and E/I hourly personnel to diagnose and repair issues
- Identifies and develops engineered solutions to repetitive failures
- Facilitates predictive/preventative management programs in SAP or other CMMS
- Assist with analyzing and documenting root causes for failures
- Establishes priority and serves as a technical resource for troubleshooting reliability issues
- Applying and expanding new technology and industry learning’s toward the work of equipment and process reliability improvement
- Possess ambulatory capabilities to walk extensively and climb ladders and stairways; and be able to tolerate temperature extremes in carrying out responsibilities.
- Provide extended coverage for equipment downtime periods, holidays, and weekends as scheduled. Will be included in weekend coverage rotation.
General Qualifications:
- Five years supervisory experience in a maintenance role
- Paper industry experience preferred
- Certification as a Category III Vibration Analyst from an ISO accredited institution is required.
- Minimum MTL 1 Lubrication certification
- Knowledge of Emerson AMS Machinery Manager Software
- Ability to handle multiple time sensitive projects and issues
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels or personnel, both hourly and management.
- Previous knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, a plus
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, problem solving, leadership, and decision-making skills, as well as initiative and the ability to delegate decision making and other responsibilities
- Diagnostic and planning skill
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- SAP experience preferred
