Job Description
Job Description
Seeking qualified piano, voice, and guitar instructors who love teaching, want to make a difference in the lives of others, and would thrive within the supportive and positive environment at our music school.
Our ideal candidate is not only someone who is a capable instructor, but who is also good at connecting with people, students and parents alike. We have students of all ages and abilities, mostly taking private lessons, but some also taking group instruction.
The heart and soul of what we try to accomplish here is through our incredible and dedicated teachers, as we work together to take students from where they are to where they have the potential to be.
We are looking for a piano teacher who has a degree in music, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for teaching and making a difference in the lives of others through music. The right person for this job is someone who is organized and reliable, takes initiative, and excited about the potential of joining a growing, thriving program here at PCS.
We need someone who could consider committing to PCS for at least 2-3 years or more, barring something happening unexpectedly. The position is year-round, with the majority of teaching done Monday through Friday during the early afternoons and evenings. Saturday teaching is optional.
Company Description
Piano Central Studios has been nourishing hearts and minds in Kindermusik classes and music lessons for Greenville and Simpsonville families since 1979.
What began as a few teaching studios in the back of a piano store has grown into the largest and oldest community music school in the Upstate, touching the lives of thousands of families with multiple locations in the Greenville and Simpsonville area. Over the years, we have continued to make it our highest priority to provide that personal touch and special care for every member of our PCS family.
We know what a difference music makes. That’s why we teach music — why PCS still exists today. But we want more for our students than just a class or lesson.
We are also committed to delivering a music learning experience that is unique and lasting. We desire to come alongside you, get to know you, ignite that natural love for music, and keep you progressing in your ability to make and enjoy music for the rest of your life.
Because of that, we’ve intentionally designed a program that is more than just the classes or lessons – we’ve crafted a distinctive experience that nurtures and supports the individual student, ensuring that they are not just achieving their goals, but are also growing and thriving along the way.
