General Trailer Technician/Mechanic

Position Overview:

As a Trailer Service Technician/Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of trailers and related equipment. You will work closely with our service team to ensure all work meets safety standards and customer satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance, state inspections and repairs on trailers, including brakes, suspension, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with trailers and related equipment.
• Inspect and test equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
• Document services performed and parts used.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors to explain repairs and services needed.
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards and advancements in trailer technology.
  
  

Requirements And Qualifications

• Aluminum and Steel Mig welding experience is a plus but not required
• Must be able to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for long periods of time
• Prior mechanical experience such as automotive or skilled trades
• PA state inspection license (Preferred)
