Review source data including engineering documents Work with Volume III Lead to develop estimating plan and handbook. Identify scope of work areas that require subcontract support or specially engineered equipment, and work with Supply Chain to write specifications and obtain pricing.
Identify scope of work areas that require subject matter expertise, and work with Proposal Manager to identify appropriate SMEs. Select appropriate estimate methodologies. Oversee development of detailed estimates. Participate in review process and ensure comments and feedback are implemented.
Basic Job Requirements

• Twenty-five years of experience in engineering, construction, operations, estimating, scheduling, project controls, proposal development, and/or project management
• Experience developing multi-billion-dollar cost estimates
• Specific experience leading cost estimates for heavy industrial (e.g., chemical processing, oil and gas) and/or nuclear facilities
• Four-year degree. Candidates not meeting the education requirements may be considered based on additional relevant experience.

Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Light to moderate lifting may be required for packages and other items, ability to walk short distances, may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.
