About the role:
The Electric Engineering Intern will work with the Manager of New Platforms and Business Development to develop new products Safety and Sensing for Industrial Automation applications.
What You Will Do:
Will be required to support performance testing of evaluation prototypes, creating test plans and presenting results.
Work collaboratively with a small and very passionate team.
Experiment with technologies to get a better understanding and to validate their ability to solve the targeted applications.
Work with global engineering teams to share their experience and knowledge.
Minimum Qualifications:
Working toward a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, preferably in Junior year
Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous co-op or internship
Capable of clear verbal and written communication.
Experience with writing lab report
Skills You Have:
Experience with electrical design and schematic capture
Familiarity with oscilloscopes and other basic laboratory equipment
Demonstrated record of technical competence, interpersonal skills, leadership ability and, a strong desire for achievement
Compensation:
The starting salary range for this position is $20 - $26 per hour.
