Who is Pioneer Golf?
- A well-established, Scottish-owned golf travel company in Austin, TX (located at Bee Cave Rd & Loop 360) that organizes golf trips for its mostly American and Canadian customers. Our clients are groups of friends or fellow country club members that are headed abroad on a golf trip.
- One of the two largest golf tour operators servicing Scotland. Scotland is the #1 destination worldwide for the traveling golfer. The third or fourth largest golf tour operator servicing Ireland/Northern Ireland (the #2 destinations worldwide).
- An official distributor of tee times for the St Andrews Old Course, arguably the most famous golf course in the world and certainly the oldest.
- Current focus is Scotland and Ireland but expanding destination offerings and looking forward to growing significantly over the next few years.
- Currently, we are a team of less than 30 individuals.
- The company is well-poised to grow significantly, and we are in the process of building a great team. Revenues have doubled this past year and a half. Golf and travel are booming post-pandemic.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review, audit, and approve prices and proposals for trips
- Manage three remote assistants
- Update proposal content and templates
- Manage pricing database
- Review vendor statements
- Work with the Trip Coordinating Team on changes impacting a client’s trip price
- Stay up to date on vendor T&C and payment schedules
- Main point of contact for vendor related invoice discrepancies
- Gather and update vendor pricing each year
- Forecast vendor price increases
- Work with Trip Coordinators (TCs) to revise pricing when changes are made
- Audit virtual assistant work time and output via tracking software
- Document workflow processes
- Train and develop assistants
- Emergency phone duty 2-3 weeks per year
Skills and Experience
- At least 3 year work experience in an office environment
- Must be numerate and have good problem solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience auditing/confirming detailed pricing sheets
- Very strong Google Sheet/spreadsheet skills

Salary : $55,000 - $70,000
