Structural Engineer

Department: All Pioneer Office

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8-5 unless otherwise needed.

Job Status: Full-Time

Amount of Travel: 10-25%

Position Summary

Pioneer Technical Services is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Structural Engineer with a minimum of 5-10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for engineering and possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and a desire to work in a team-oriented environment. The candidate must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and be able to meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide structural engineering/technical support on civil/environmental engineering projects.
• Design and analyze structures using various structural engineering software packages.
• Conduct structural analysis and design of new and existing building components, bridges, and other structures.
• Prepare construction documents and specifications, including structural drawings and calculations.
• Coordinate with other project team members, including architects, contractors, and other engineers.
• Attend project meetings, provide technical support, and respond to project-related inquiries.
• Perform site inspections and assessments as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering
• 5-10 years of experience in structural engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in structural engineering software packages such as AutoDesk Robot Structural Analysis, SAP2000, ETABS, and RISA
• Proficiency in (or willingness to learn) drafting software such as AutoDesk AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
