Position Summary
Pioneer Technical Services is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Structural Engineer with a minimum of 5-10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for engineering and possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and a desire to work in a team-oriented environment. The candidate must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and be able to meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide structural engineering/technical support on civil/environmental engineering projects.
- Design and analyze structures using various structural engineering software packages.
- Conduct structural analysis and design of new and existing building components, bridges, and other structures.
- Prepare construction documents and specifications, including structural drawings and calculations.
- Coordinate with other project team members, including architects, contractors, and other engineers.
- Attend project meetings, provide technical support, and respond to project-related inquiries.
- Perform site inspections and assessments as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering
- 5-10 years of experience in structural engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in structural engineering software packages such as AutoDesk Robot Structural Analysis, SAP2000, ETABS, and RISA
- Proficiency in (or willingness to learn) drafting software such as AutoDesk AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
