Accountant

Join our growing team as an Accountant, where you will play an important role within our accounting group by ensuring the accuracy of our financial records. As an Accountant, you will be integral to maintaining our financial health and supporting our business operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reports
• Analyze & troubleshoot balance sheet / income statement
• Perform month-end / year-end close
• Coordinate Accounts Receivable, including customer invoicing and monthly statements
• Follow up on overdue customer accounts to ensure timely payments
• Maintain and update customer profiles
• Perform bank deposits and reconciliations
• Assist with Accounts Payable, including writing checks to vendors
• Reconcile and code credit card transactions
• Prepare daily cash reports

Qualifications

• Understanding of double-entry bookkeeping processes and public accounting standards
• Understanding of financial reporting
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Excel proficiency including use of formulas, pivot tables, sub-totals and V-lookups
• Experience in manufacturing industry and job costing is a plus
• Experience using ERP systems is a plus
