Role
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing projects from initiation through completion, using Conair’s newly implemented stage gate process to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires close collaboration with customers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Review quotation accuracy with sales, PMO, and engineering.
- Conduct detailed kickoff meetings with stakeholders to discuss project scope, customer contact, payment terms, vendor quotes, and timeline.
- Send introductory communication to customers, provide scope of work, update flow diagram and populate customer shared folder.
- Arrange and conduct customer site visits; gather layout approvals and confirm installation requirements.
- Prepare contractor packages, review quotes, and manage contractor communications and scheduling.
- Track vendor ship dates, monitor project budget, and oversee Conair shipping details.
- Maintain regular customer communication on project status, schedule, and scope changes.
- Work with the service team on the start-up schedule, manage punch-list items, and handle final documentation.
- Conduct weekly team meetings, update installation/service timelines, and address remaining open items or support needs.
