Art Director

Essence of the role (Role’s Purpose):    We are seeking a highly creative and strategic Art Director to lead the visual development and execution of marketing materials, campaigns, and branding initiatives within our Wholesale Department for the Natural Channel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design leadership, branding, and campaign management, with a passion for wellness and the natural health industry.The Art Director will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, and Product Development, to create compelling visual assets that resonate with retail partners and their customers. This is an exciting opportunity to influence the look and feel of our brand within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.    Recipe for Success (Responsibilities):1.    Creative Leadership:•    Develop and oversee creative for the Wholesale Natural Channel, ensuring alignment with Piping Rock’s overall brand guidelines. Lead the creation of marketing assets such as point-of-sale materials, packaging, brochures, tradeshow assets and digital campaigns tailored for wholesale retail partners.•    Provide art direction for photoshoots, ensuring imagery aligns with brand objectives and appeals to the Natural Channel audience. 2.    Strategic Collaboration:•    Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to design visually impactful assets that drive wholesale partner engagement and sales.•    Act as a liaison between internal creative teams and external vendors/agencies to ensure consistency and quality in deliverables. 3.    Project Management:•    Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining deadlines and delivering high-quality work in a face-paced and dynamic environment.•    Adapt quickly to shifting priorities while ensuring creative deliverables meet both business and brand objectives. •    Mentor and guide a team of designers, providing constructive feedback to foster creativity and innovation. 4.    Market Insight:•    Stay informed on industry trends, competitor strategies, and design innovations within the Natural Channel and health/wellness space.•    Translate market insights into visually compelling campaigns that highlight Piping Rock’s unique value propositions.•    Additional duties as assigned     Ingredients Required (Qualifications):Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Marketing, or a related field. Experience:o    5-7 years of experience in graphic design, art direction, or branding, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.o    Proven experience working within the natural health, wellness, or consumer goods industry is a strong plus. Skills:o    Exceptional proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design tools.o    Strong understanding of packaging design, print production, shopper and digital marketing.o    Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate creative concepts and strategies.o    Experience managing creative teams and collaborating across departments.   Role’s Physical Requirements:    On site in Bohemia office 2 days a week, Tuesday & Wednesday.      We proudly offer: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K with Company Match, Pet insurance and more!
