Position Overview:
PITC Institute is seeking passionate and experienced Clinical Nursing Instructors to join our Practical Nursing Program. We offer both day and evening classes and are looking for instructors for both programs. The Clinical Nursing Instructor will be responsible for providing quality education to nursing students, fostering their development in the classroom, and preparing them for a successful career in nursing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess classroom lectures and lab sessions in accordance with the curriculum for practical nursing.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to students to support their academic and professional growth.
- Utilize a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles.
- Evaluate student performance through exams, assignments, and practical assessments.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Participate in curriculum development and program evaluations.
- Collaborate with other faculty members and administration to ensure a cohesive learning experience.
- Stay updated with current nursing practices, techniques, and trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- At least 2 years of experience in teaching or direct patient care
