Pivotal Commware develops 5G communications platforms, systems and applications based on Holographic Beam Forming® , a patented breakthrough in electromagnetic physics. Pivotal Commware is looking for a Part-Time Jira Administrator for a 2-3 month contract role. The Jira Administrator will be responsible for configuration and maintenance of Pivotal’s Jira implementation. This role will work with stakeholders throughout Pivotal, including engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and QA. The Jira Administrator will gather input from stakeholders to drive direction on workflows, project structure and format, links with plug-ins and other tools, and day-to-day team usage, and then implement changes. This position reports to the VP of Engineering. 

Responsibilities

• Gather input from stakeholders on current, intended, and potential use of Jira and related tools
• Assess current usage across functional teams and identify areas to streamline or enhance
• Develop workflows, customization, and integration with plug-ins and other tools to streamline day-to-day use
• Document systems, processes, and decisions within Jira and related tools
• Configure projects, boards, tasks/issues, and permissions for current and future use
• Prepare training material and lead training sessions to promote best-practice Jira adoption throughout the organization

• 4 years of system administration experience
• 4 years of experience working with Jira including 2 year as an administrator in a cloud environment
• Experience working with multiple functional teams and program types
• Experience with creating Jira templates, custom issues and workflows, and custom forms/attributes
• Experience building custom dashboards and reports
• Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills including leading training sessions

• Experience working with Confluence as an administrator
• Working knowledge of various other CI/CD or Atlassian tools and plug-ins, such as Bitbucket, Jira Service Desk, Jenkins, etc
• Atlassian Certified Professional Jira Administrator

Compensation Summary:

Targeted hourly range: $70-$90/hr

Can be w-2 OR 1099
