What are the responsibilities and job description for the Class A Driver position at PL Developments?
Tanker Hazmat endorsement preferred but not required.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possess and maintain valid CDL Class A License
- Minimum 2 years driving experience
- Must pass DOT physical and drug test
- Must pass background check
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must have experience driving a 20' or larger truck
- Be able to lift, push or pull - minimum 50 lbs.
- Must be able to operate a single, deep reach truck, sit down forklift, stock picker, electric jack and scissor lift
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive truck safely and within state and local laws
- Inspect truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water
- Report any unsafe conditions on the truck to a manager
- Check that registration and inspection stickers are valid
- Maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations
- Maintain telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions
- Verify load against shipping papers
- Operate forklift in a safe and efficient manner to retrieve or store material
- Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions and acts to Management
- Provides assistance to warehouse staff in performing normal warehouse duties
- Performs other related duties as required
