JOB SUMMARY:
The Weigh/Blender Compounder is responsible for accurately preparing and blending raw materials to create intermediate and finished products in compliance with company standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow precise formulations, and a strong understanding of manufacturing processes in a controlled environment.
Work schedule: Sunday, Friday, Saturday 6a - 6:30p
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma required or equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years of experience preferred
- Attention to detail to ensure product quality
- Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to follow them
- Strong communication, mathematical and writing abilities
- Proficiency in English reading comprehension and the ability to adhere to written instructions
- Forklift certification (certification provided by PL Developments.)
- Willing to work extended hours, including weekends and various shift schedules
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Batch OTC (Over the counter) products
- Controls equipment to blend specified chemicals possessing articular uniqueness
- Understand specifications to determine batch characteristics, type and weight of ingredients to be used
- Select, pre-weigh ingredients to specification, and reconcile ingredient usage for each batch
- Start equipment and adjust temperature, time, and speed controls to blend ingredients, addition additional ingredients during blending cycle as specified
- Record type and quantity of materials used
- Be familiar with processes of the department to transfer of product to holding tanks
- Wash and sanitize mixing tanks and other equipment as necessary
- Will have responsibilities involving the handling and proximity to Nicotine Polacrilex
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Able to perfrom repetitive motions, such as stirring, pouring, or scooping
- Able to tolerate working in environments with fluctuating temperatures, moderate noise levels, and exposure to chemicals or dust
- Adhere to strict safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment
