Overview
The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with dogs and have an excellent attitude towards them. This position requires cross-training in all departments including customer service
Duties
The dog daycare attendant is responsible for providing a safe, clean and comfortable environment for dogs. This includes cleaning the kennels, feeding them, bathing them and taking care of all other duties as assigned by management in accordance with company policies and procedures. Must be to work independently under pressure.
Hours: 15-25 Flexible schedule required.
Weekend split shift Saturday & Sunday 7am-11am & 3-7pm. Monday, Wednesday Thursday 2 to 7 PM.
Detailed job duties include:
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs.
- Maintain an environment that is safe, clean and comfortable for pets to play.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness throughout the facility including cleaning dog beds, bathing, feeding, etc.
- Clean up after animals daily by hand or using appropriate equipment such as washing machines/cleaners.
- Keep the housekeeping area neat and orderly while keeping supplies organized at all times.
- Take pictures and videos of the pups for our social media accounts.
Qualification
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays. (Please do not apply if you are unable to work weekends or holidays).
- Ability and willingness for continuous learning
- Must have transportation.
- Excellent customer service skills
