Job Summary

Under general direction from the Director of Maintenance the Maintenance Specialist is responsible for club maintenance and repairs in the areas of general upkeep, including but not limited to, tanning beds, exercise machines, weight training equipment, and massage equipment. Minor cosmetic construction needs relating to painting, lighting, and club upkeep. Additionally, the Maintenance Specialist will assess and consider daily 1) the safety of our employees 2) the security of our assets 3) the service to our members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•Acts as the primary contact for all clubs for any general upkeep needs relating to minor cosmetic or construction work.
•Maintains and updates online facility ticket submission tool.
•Perform general upkeep to the club’s facility and equipment.
•Monitors and replaces light bulbs in all assigned facilities, as needed.
•Transports goods or equipment as assigned.
•Solicits bids and quotes from vendors.
•Dispatch contractors to repair and maintain facilities, as necessary.
•Evaluate contractors work to ensure proper repairs were made after service calls.
•Assess the club to ensure cleanliness.
•Records and maintains a schedule of historical repair needs for each club.
•Other duties as necessary or assigned.

Rate of Pay

• $22.50

Qualifications

•1 to 3 years’ experience in Club Operations is beneficial.

•Effectively communicate (oral and written) with all employees, contractors, and vendors.

•Self-starter and team player.

•Must be 18 years of age or older.

•Satisfactory background check

Preferred Qualifications
•Negotiating and influencing skills.

•Experience in Logistics, Permitting, Leasing, and Facilities Maintenance.

•Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
