Position Reports to : Vice President, Director of Deposit Services
Objective : The Deposit Business Banking Specialist Supervisor administers and supervises the daily operations of Platinum Bank’s deposit business banking functions and is responsible for providing cash management services and business account opening support to the Cash Management Specialist team as directed. The Deposit Business Banking Specialist Supervisor will manage the team of Deposit Business Banking Specialists and is responsible for executing deposit strategy and ensuring the day-to-day banking needs of our clients are met.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervision :
- Lead, manage, and hold the deposit business banking specialist team accountable.
- Hold re-occurring 1 : 1s, quarterly check-ins, and facilitate team L10.
- Subject matter expert in onboarding new deposits, service facilitation, cash management agreements and risk assessments.
- Monitors supervised employees for adhering to bank policies, procedures, Platinum client experience, and standards of conduct daily.
- Create and maintain procedures for deposit business banking functions.
- Daily resource for troubleshooting with staff as needed.
- Exhibits a positive attitude with staff and positively impacts morale by respectful correction of performance and behavior problems, and acknowledgment of their accomplishments and contributions.
- Offers technical and administrative support for vetting and integration of new cash management services and product upgrades.
Cash Management Implementation :
Complete UCMA-Universal Cash Management Agreement- and any other Cash Management paperwork for new and existing Cash Management clients.Manage new business account openings, client due diligence, and Cash Management services facilitation.Coordinate the opening of new consumer accounts and products with the Client Services Teams and / or Private Banker.Coordinate business account signer changes and other business account change related maintenance.Assist with Merchant Services – New and Changes.Internal Review & Risk Mitigation :
Assist in the preparation for relationship reviews, examinations, and audits.Complete RDC – Remote Deposit Capture Annual Reviews.Complete Commercial Risk Assessment Annual Reviews.Assist in problem resolution for Cash Management clients.Other Responsibilities :
Maintain client confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.Perform related duties consistent with the scope and intent of the position.Assist and support projects (cash management or other) as assigned.Work closely with internal security teams to address and mitigate fraud risks.Career Development :
Complete directed training opportunities promoting technical skills, security, risk management and the banking industry.Attend other seminars sponsored by bank associations.Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.Requirements : QUALIFICATIONS
Education and / or Experience :
Bachelor’s degree preferred, High School diploma or GED required.5 years’ experience in related field.Business Banking / Cash Management experience preferred.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
