What are the responsibilities and job description for the Occupational Therapist-Part-Time position at Playabilities For Sensational Kids, LLC?
The Occupational Therapist is responsible for managing the entire client experience from initial evaluation to implementation of treatment to family education to discharge. No two children are the same and therapists will need to use their expertise and creativity to connect with their clients, implementing a variety of approaches to find the “just right” therapeutic fit for your clients. Our therapy style is primary play-based in a one-on-one setting however, therapists doing activities together is not uncommon.
Expectations
Therapist will need to be a quick learner, capable of juggling multiple tasks and responsibilities at one time while providing high-touch service to clients, families and caregivers.
Availability
The position will be responsible for a range of 8-20 billable hours per week.
The ideal candidate will have availability to work 3-5 days a week, with at least 3 days of after-school availability (4-7 PM).
