SALARY 

$69,306 - $78,229

New hires may earn a salary ranging from the minimum to the midpoint of the pay scale, with education and experience taken into consideration.

The Executive Assistant provides services essential to the mission of the organization through administrative support for multiple Vice Presidents.   This person will oversee schedules and calendars, organize, and prepare for meetings, prepare materials, handle logistics, draft routine documents, edit documents and presentations, assist with time management, and serve as a contact for partners, colleagues, and others made in the normal course of conducting Plymouth Housing’s work. The position must exercise judgement and be able to anticipate needs and respond appropriately.  The position must also maintain confidentiality and discretion and be capable of independent judgment when carrying out major assignments. 

Plymouth Housing is a nonprofit organization that develops and operates permanent supportive housing for single adults who have experienced chronic homelessness. With apartment buildings throughout King County, Plymouth is helping the most vulnerable members of our community leave homelessness behind forever. At Plymouth, we’re not simply trying to get people off the streets. We provide supportive services like case management and health care so that our residents can thrive long-term. As part of our strategic vision, we are building internal behavioral health services and transforming our systems to address rapid growth and the changing needs of residents.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO BE DOING IN THIS ROLE AT PLYMOUTH HOUSING

  • Manage executives’ schedules and calendars.
  • Prepare and edit documents, including agendas and presentations.
  • Serve as a point of contact for executives.
  • Support time management and take meeting minutes.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Coordinate travel logistics and expense reporting.
  • Organize events and meetings, including logistics and RSVPs.
  • Conduct research for projects.
  • Provide varied administrative support.

SOME KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ATTRIBUTES WE NEED FROM YOU

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and work independently.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate degree in liberal arts or business administration, or a combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.  
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.  
  • Minimum five years’ executive level administrative experience supporting an Executive Director, President/CEO or other similar senior-level executive.  
  • Experience working in a non-profit setting is a plus.  
  • Experience in working or volunteering with a diverse and economically disadvantaged community is preferred.
