Job Duties:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments of materials and verify quantities against purchase orders
- Pick and prepare hardware and components for production orders
- Pack or palletize finished goods for shipment to customers
- Load and unload shipments using a forklift
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage of materials
- Prepare shipping documents and labels
- Communicate with carriers and schedule pickups
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
Requirements:
- Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Physical and Work Environment Demands:
- Must be able to stand/walk/work for 8-10 hours per day.
- Must be able to lift and/or move 25lbs., occasionally lift and/or move 40lbs.
Experience:
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving or warehouse operations preferred
- Experience operating a forklift required
Education:
- High School Diploma/GED preferred, not required.
