Job Description Bio/Neurofeedback Technician/ Practitioner We are a Brain Health and Functional Medicine Wellness office. .We help our clients recover from anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood issues, head trauma, autistic spectrum issues, PTSD, etc. Our comprehensive psychological wellness center offers psychological assessments, neurofeedback and other non-drug approaches to enhancing emotional wellness & health. Prior neurofeedback experience not required. We will train you to be an outstanding neurofeedback technician! This position also includes occasional administrative duties. This is a full-time position; hours are Monday through Friday 9am-2pm & 3 nights (depending on location schedule from 6-8pm. This position reports directly to the facility medical director* Duties/ Responsibilities Under the Direction of the Executive Director of Neurorehabilitation, the Neuro technician is responsible for understanding the equipment involved in neurofeedback as well as collaborating with patients to effectively address and treat the concern for which they are seeking treatment. * Administers qEEG guided neurofeedback brain training and neurostimulation. * Conducts EEG acquisition and assessment for treatment planning and ongoing assessment. Assumes responsibility for the execution of the Neurofeedback training plan. * Coordinates scheduling of appointments and keeps track of sessions delivered to plan. * Manages patients and their progress. * Keeps track of patient’s clinical changes affecting their brain and changes in medication use. * Tracks, charts and monitors patient’s training sessions and symptomatic progress and reports these to supervisor. * Reviews patient progress and training effectiveness with facility medical director and/or facility director Requirements MUST hold an advanced certification in QEEG and Neurofeedback as a BrainCore Authorized Practitioner or greater Previous work with substance abuse/mental health disorders preferred
