Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and be adept at performing a variety of tasks to ensure the proper functioning of our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on facilities and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including logic controllers and schematics.
- Conduct residential painting and minor repairs to enhance the appearance of facilities.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
- Operate tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics and repairs.
- Supervise maintenance projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including completed tasks and materials used.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Proficiency in using CMMS software for tracking maintenance tasks.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, including the ability to read schematics and troubleshoot logic controllers.
- Experience with residential painting techniques is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as an ohmmeter.
- Supervisory experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities in managing maintenance tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality in all work performed.
