What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Counter Retail Associates position at Pool and Spa Depot?
Pool and Spa Depot is hiring for Front Counter Retail Associates for our retail store located in Brentwood.
The Front Counter Retail Associates (FCRA) provide customers with outstanding customer service both in person and over the phone. The FCRA serves customers by selling products, testing water and answering customer questions.
Duties include but are not limited to:
The Front Counter Retail Associates (FCRA) provide customers with outstanding customer service both in person and over the phone. The FCRA serves customers by selling products, testing water and answering customer questions.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Process customer transactions and take payment via credit card and cash.
- Build relationships and trust with customers and potential customers by listening to their needs and educating them about the products and services we offer
- Complete water test and review results with customer.
- Stock and straighten shelves, price merchandise and clean up around store as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
**This position pays an hourly wage plus commission!!
Qualifications:
- One to two years related experience or equivalent.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Previous experience in retail sales and cash handling.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Flexible schedule (Retail stores are open 7 days a week)
- Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
- Please note: This position is located at our Retail Store, which is open 7 days a week. Weekend work will be a part of your work schedule.
