What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Scheduling Clerk - LaVergne position at Pool and Spa Depot?
Pool and Spa Depot, headquartered in LaVergne, Tennessee, is looking to add a Service Scheduling Clerk to our Delivery & Installation Department in LaVergne, TN.
The Scheduling Clerk will work with new pool and spa homeowners and customers to coordinate pool builds and spa deliveries to ensure efficiency within our teams. Excellent communication skills are required for this position. In addition, the position will require some Saturday work.
Job Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Schedule pool builds and product deliveries
- Work with up to 5 Pool Installation Crews, and 4 Delivery Drivers
- Work with homeowners to coordinate pool builds & product deliveries.
- Being mindful of logistics (geographically/time/weather) of pool crews & delivery drivers to effectively & efficiently coordinate & schedule appointments, pool builds, and deliveries
- Work in conjunction with the Service Technicians and the Service Department Team to ensure customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous scheduling experience highly preferred
- Must be able to use web-based software (Google Mail, Google Driver, Google Sheets, Google Docs, etc.)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) and/or Google Docs
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective time management skills ensuring meeting deadlines, as promised.
- Willingness to work in a team environment
- Willingness to work overtime as needed, including some Saturdays
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Computer knowledge and ability to learn/use software after training
