Essential Functions
- Ensure providers have completed all records upon end of shift or before/during next shift worked. Incomplete charts should be maintained at 1% or less.
- Ensure all provider enrollment paperwork is complete within 10 calendar days of receiving.
- Ensure daily provider/patient census assignments are complete and accurate within HM software system. Complete daily discharges within HM software system. (if applicable)
- Ensure coordination of new provider hospital orientation, including EMR training, and any other hospital required onboarding prior to provider shifts.
Round on providers daily to ensure all administrative needs are met. - Act as American Physician Partners representative at hospital meetings, including but not limited to daily morning meetings, EOM meetings, medical staff meetings, patient satisfaction meetings, ED workgroup meetings and HM workgroup meetings.
- Address any issues that arise including scheduling conflicts, patient complaints, inquiries, etc. Notify Corporate Office as appropriate.
- Assist in capturing census information from previous day and provide to Corporate Office.
- Interface with Corporate Office to ensure ongoing revenue cycle activities function smoothly for facility; assist with any data needs.
- Interface with hospital HIM, IT, and other data departments to assist APP with ongoing needs.
- All other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
High school diploma with three years of related experience required.
Medical terminology education preferred.
