The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) plays a critical role in providing immediate medical care to patients in emergency situations. Duties
- Assess patients’ conditions by performing thorough patient assessments and obtaining vital signs.
- Provide emergency care and treatment, including triage of patients in various settings such as hospitals, urgent care facilities, and Level II Trauma Centers.
- Drive emergency vehicles safely and efficiently to transport patients to medical facilities.
- Administer basic life support techniques and assist with advanced procedures as directed by medical personnel.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care during emergencies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient information and treatment provided during transport.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with best practices in emergency medicine.
Skills
- Proficient in patient assessment techniques and understanding of vital signs.
- Knowledgeable in triage protocols and emergency response procedures.
- Experience working in an ER or urgent care setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

- Valid EMT certification and driving license required.
