Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Registered Nurse (RN) On the Medical Unit you will care for a wide ranging patient population including chronically ill, terminally ill and palliative care patients. You will also care for pre and post-surgical patients on occasion and you will be exposed to many different areas of nursing care.

• You will provide assessment and care of oncologic, chronically ill, terminally ill and palliative care patients.
• You will administer prescribed medications including oncologic medications which require certification for Registered Nurses.
• Monitoring, recording and communicating patient conditions will be your primary responsibility as well as recording data electronically.
• You will recognize and respond to changes in a patient’s condition.
• Coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of your unit’s healthcare team.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of NH or valid compact state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
