**EXPERIENCED** Medical Scribe
Potomac Urology – Woodbridge, VA and Alexandria, VA (Applicant MUST be able to travel between both sites 2-4x/week)
We are looking for a recent college graduate with a passion for men's and women's health for a full-time scribe position in a general urology practice located in Woodbridge, VA and Alexandria, VA. Candidates would be working with one physician, a fellowship trained urologist, out of our Woodbridge and Alexandria office. Previous scribes have gone on to medical school and Physician Assistant school. ***Previous medical experience REQUIRED.*** Ideal candidate would be interested in staying in the position for at least a year or longer.
Job responsibilities would include assisting the physician with office based procedures, scribing for routine office visits, and serving as a point of contact for patients when the physician is operating. Initial training would include introduction to our electronic medical system, training in relevant anatomy and disease processes with the physician, and learning about surgical and non-surgical treatment options for these pathologies. We would assist you in any way possible in achieving your goals from a career standpoint. Join us in making a difference in the lives of our patients!
Knowledge of medical terminologies is strongly preferred, but not required. Prior medical scribing experience is required. Proficiency in other languages is appreciated.
