What are the responsibilities and job description for the Generator Technician position at Power Generation and Control, Inc.?
As a Generator Technician, you will be contributing to the service, repair, and maintenance of residential, commercial, and industrial generators and Automatic Transfer Switches. This includes (but not limited to):
- Service and repair all makes and models of generator sets.
- Perform preventive maintenance on generator sets.
- Troubleshooting generator and ATS units.
- Maintaining a neat and orderly shop warehouse.
- Requirements:
- A thorough understanding of electrical systems and engines.
- A thorough knowledge of hand tools.
- Good morale and exceptional work ethic.
- Willingness to follow orders and learn.
- Previous experience in generator maintenance is preferred.
- The ability to perform moderate to heavy physical labor (lifting, crouching, kneeling, etc.)
- A valid driver's license.
