Join our fast-growing firm as a Receptionist . The role filled by the Receptionist enables our team to serve clients with compassion, honesty, and understanding.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be able to answer, screen, route, and take messages for busy multi-line phone systems
  • Must know how to use a headset while working multiple lines.
  • Receive deliveries; sort and distribute incoming mail
  • Must be able to discreetly handle confidential information and compose memos, letters, and emails.
  • Proficiency with Google Calendar, Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, Dropbox and Google Docs/Drive is required
  • Must have excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Must have the ability to prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Absolutely MUST BE Bilingual (preferred English/Spanish)
  • Must have a good reputation for being timely and punctual with previous employers/positions
  • Must have the ability to prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Must be able to multitask and have great attention to detail
  • Availability to work some Saturday mornings

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and friendly manner
  • Maintain reception area and all common areas in a clean and tidy manner at all times
  • Maintaining office directories
  • Timely and be reliable
  • Stable work history
  • Greeting visitors and accepting deliveries
  • Dependable transportation
  • Greet clients with a smile and compassion.
  • Coordinate, schedule, organize, and confirm appointments and meetings.
  • Update and maintain databases such as mailing lists, contact lists, and client information.
  • Respectful and responsible.
  • A person who always does what it takes to get the job done.
  • A team player but perfectly capable of working by yourself.
  • Someone who can keep your composure in the face of a highly stressed, extremely high paced environment.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
  • Assist legal assistants and lawyers with overflow work, including word processing, data entry and research.
  • Ability to work in the office.

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior receptionist experience
  • Prior experience working in an office environment
  • Prior experience with immigration law
  • Prior filing experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, and speak English

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
