Description
The Engineering & Construction Manager leads the efforts on the assigned project portfolio and is responsible for coordinating the individual Engineering Discipline Leads, the Project Document and Data Management (PDDM). Additionally, the E&C Manager will supervise the essential administrative processes, technical knowledge, and direction ensuring technical accuracy in project execution in all phases, leading to the most cost-effective total project solution and execution.
Qualifications
Minimum
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in related engineering discipline.
- Experience: Eight (8) or more years of engineering experience in a chemical plant or similar manufacturing setting with demonstrated skills and results in the areas of project portfolio management (small-$1M to large-$10M capital projects portfolio), troubleshooting, problem-solving, and system/process improvement.
Preferred
- Education: Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Degree. Engineering Project Management certificate or master's degree is a plus.
- Experience: Sixteen (16) or more years of engineering experience in a chemical plant or similar manufacturing setting with demonstrated skills and results in the areas of project portfolio management (small-$5M to large-$50M capital projects portfolio), troubleshooting, problem-solving, and system/process improvement.
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Professional engineering certification (PE); PMP Certified
